Check out my take on the most comfortable and practical personal protective equipment that I've found for use in the workshop or on site.  As we all know, safety is an important issue and properly protecting your eyes, ears and lungs doesn't have to be uncomfortable.

I have tried various types and brands of safety equipment over the years and I've settled on some favorites.  In this video I share my favorite dust mask, prescription safety glasses and hearing protection and why it has worked well for me.  Sometimes it is tempting to skip this type of gear for comfort but I've found that these options are quite comfortable and practical as well.  Not wearing respiratory protection can lead to lung problems or even lung cancer, skipping safety glasses can obviously lead to eye injuries or the loss of an eye and no hearing protection will eventually make you hard of hearing.  So skipping these important pieces of gear just isn't worth it.  Like we've all heard so many times, safety first!
