How to Re-Sharpen Oscillating Multi Tool Blades

Learn how to re-sharpen your oscillating multi tool blades making them last longer and ultimately saving you money!  OMT blades can be expensive and the longer you can make them last the better value they become.  Watch this how-to video and learn how simple the re-sharpening process is and sharpen your blades yourself.

Oscillating multi tools have become a very useful tool both on-site and in the shop.  Useful for cutting a variety of materials in awkward and confined spaces it's hard to imagine working without them now.  The cost of OMT blades can add up so making them last longer and being able to re-sharpen them yourself can mean saving money.  All that is required to re-sharpen is a saw file and a vise.  I've found that the Imperial blades made of high-carbon steel are the easiest to re-sharpen and make for a very good value.  These blades will fit many different makes and models of oscillating multi tools such as Bosch, Fein, Festool, Makita, DeWalt and many more.
